Co je nadměrné pocení?
O nadměrném pocení se dá hovořit, pokud se člověk potí i v situacích, kdy by normálně neměl, a nebo vylučuje příliš velký obsah potu. V extrémních případech se může vyloučit až 1,5 l tekutin za hodinu, což je pro zdraví organismu nebezpečné. Na kolik je pocení úměrné, jde však těžko vyčíslit, protože je to záležitost ryze individuální. Člověk sám nejlépe pozná, kdy se stala v jeho termoregulačním systému nějaká změna, případně, kdy jej nadměrné vylučování potu začne obtěžovat a oslabovat.
